In 2010, DISA established DISA Academy at its head office and began its training activities on a limited scale. DISA Academy was renamed to DISA Training Center (DTC) in 2020 to better reflect the rising demand, and it immediately began operating with physical facilities that were up to par with international standards. i.e., a digital training and conference room, participant accommodations with air conditioning, a dining area, etc. Through a variety of training and exposure activities, DTC works to strengthen the skills and capabilities of its employees and programme participants. DTC is constantly improving its current training programmes and creating DISA-specific programmes depending on the market needs. By offering assistance with organizing workshops, seminars, conferences, training sessions, and other events, DTC also supports and facilitates the capacities of other NGOs and government agencies. In order to explore and promote the potential of development professionals and programme participants, DTC encourages like-minded organizations and/or people to collaborate. DTC does this by creating a supportive learning environment that acknowledges the rights and dignity of all people.
